Adobe Photoshop CS5 is the world’s most powerful image enhancement tool.  With strong Photoshop skills, you can control every single pixel in your digital image!  Photoshop CS5 is an incredibly useful for the serious digital photographer but it is not an easy program to master without expert instruction.

Join David Marx, an Adobe Certified Photoshop expert, for three days of hands-on guidance through this intimidating software.  With David’s help you can quickly master the basics of this enormously creative program.  David’s good-natured teaching style, and his ability to explain complex subjects in plain English, create an enthusiastic environment in the classroom. 

Throughout our workshop, you will learn to make precise local edits using Photoshop’s most powerful tools: adjustment layers and layer masks.  As your masking skills improve, you will learn precise techniques for burning and dodging, color correction, and  localized image sharpening.  Mastering these tools will open up new avenues of creativity for you and expand the limits of your photography to new and exciting places.

Who should attend:  No experience with the Adobe Photoshop CS5 is needed to participate in this class however those with strong computing skills will get more out of our workshop.  In addition, Photoshop CS5 and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom work well together.  Those interested in this class are encouraged to attend our Lightroom sessions first or to develop similar image-management skills on their own.
